I am current owner of an apartment with Parkchester North Condominum. I have decided to relocate to Bangladesh after my retirement.
After about one years I left I ran into issues with maintenance and etc, where I needed to provide power of attorney to my son who reside in New York.
First, my son physically came to the office where the receptionist was rude. Upon requesting to speak to manager, another lady to came to speak and requested that I call from foreign country.
My son relayed the informaiton to me and I called the north management office international from Bangladesh. I spoke to Chuck Tucci, the general manager of ParkChester North Condominium. Then, he requested to speak to my son again. I relayed the information back to my son.
My son called Chuck at his request and Chuck stated that an official power of attorney request must be provided with notorized letter. My son relayed the information back to me.
I processed the power of attorney paper work from Bangladesh Us Embassy. I mailed all document to my son. My son appeared to office with all paper work. To his utter surprise office refused to accept the power of attorney paper work without any reason. They stated that I need to appear in the office physically.
I want to summarise the sequence of events took place
1) My son went to office, management said that they needed to speak to me
2) I called the office and they said that they needed to speak to my son
3) MY son call and they stated that they need official paper work for power of attorney
4) I processed and sent all paper work issued by US embassy and they said that I needed to appear in person.
I am completely astonished by the lack of responsibility and accountability of this management organization. I am going to reach out to attorney general's office unless I see proper ownership of these incidents.
