I would NEVER raise my future kids here in Parkchester. Parkchester is not the place to raise your kids. It's no longer a safe haven for kids either. I'm glad I don't have them yet, I'm waiting until I move out of here so that I can start my own family, but while I'm still here? Oh HELL TO THE f**kING NO.
I'm sorry if you have kids and are experiencing problems with people complaining about your kids (which is totally unfair and I understand that completely). But to those of you thinking about moving to this place, think twice about moving here, because Management will tell you that its a great place to raise your kids, but then when you finally move in, you find out that its actually otherwise, and then you're stuck.

You must be kidding me. You must not have children. Usually after school, when the weather is good, I take my son to the park. This is at 6 pm after he has had a full day of school and has gone to the after school program and played. When he gets home he still has plenty of energy and cannot keep still. Mind you, my child goes to Catholic school and is very well disciplined. Then I have an older daughter who also goes to school and she doesn't go to the park. She prefers to come home right away and most of the time I find her fast asleep after school. Every child is different. You can't control other people or their children, get over it. I can understand the music being annoying, that is just obnoxious sometimes. But the children are completely off limits.

I have something to say you are the dumb one like your parents. there are parks where you can play, couldn't your parents take you OUT???????? That lady had every right to complain about noise just like your parents she was paying rent. why should she suffer because of your family. It is noisey people like your family that cause your own problems with getting ticketed. If you have kids now I hope you trained them to be quiet, If not take them to the park so they can work out their energy. There is so much I can say but in seeing how you are still angry about that situation It wouldn't register in your brain.
There is nothing worse than Noisy Neighbors that can not comprehend that they are not the only ones living there. have some respect for another human.

How many of you have these annoying neighbors that are always complaining? I remember living at Parkchester during my childhood years. I had this neighbor that would always complain to my mom about noise and jumping with my brother. Even the little bit of noise set her off. I would always see police coming up knocking at my door. I can't recall how much summons my mom received, but I feel sorry for her. Sadly, I was a kid back then. Kids cry.... they jump... they scream..... I really hate her. She has no slightest idea how much those fines affected us because my parents do not make much money back then. She's a very nasty person. It's also an uncomfortable feeling to even be standing in the elevator with her. The level of tension is very high. Even, in college she still complaining. So today she complains again.... about a rug in a kitchen.... complaining about water falling from the ceiling..... and it wasn't that wet and she's COMPLAINING. I am like news flash lady water drys up. It was a very stupid complain too for a minor problem. Also, who on earth would even have a rug in the kitchen? it's bound to get ruin anyways. Food could fall on it, water could fall on it, and other kitchen related substances could fall on it.
