Thanks for explaining the UNO's restaurant chain financial downfalls, MaryAnn. No wonder UNO's closed their Parkchester, Bronx location.
Many companies are filing bankruptcy due to a failed US economy, as a matter of fact, OTB (Off Track Betting) just recently announced they too are closing.
There is actually an OTB (Off Track Betting) location in Parkchester, across from McDonalds on Westchester Avenue. Wonder what will happen there.

Hi,
The Uno's chain filed for bankruptcy in Jan 2010. It emerged from bankruptcy with new owners, the former bondholders. They are closing the lower performing restaurants to maximize profits.
Uno's wasn't very busy during the week, but was really crowded on the weekends. I had many pleasant evenings there with my family and friends. I want to thank everyone who worked there for taking good care of Parkchester. I hope your talents are recognized and that you will all find new jobs soon.

Well it seems the Unos has shutdown all of the sudden. Anyone know why? Was a good place to get a quick bite and to chill. Hope something better takes over the space
