There is a person on my floor with a giant dog they never walk! The sh** smell is seeping down the hall and into everyone's apartment! I had a cleaning OCD....can't stand filth....so you can imagine how I feel.

If you have late night music complaints, take to the cell phone camera. Record the noise from outside the door and inside your apartment and post it on YouTube under PRIVATE so only those email addresses you specify can view it. Then send the link to security. Once they see video proof that other people can see and confirm, they may feel compelled to resolve it more quickly. It's also impossible for the offender to deny it. Good luck!

Parkchester promotes "family enviornment" but wth?! Parents shouldnt have to tie their kids up at home. it's innevitable to have a baby running all over the place or playing... Parkchester really should have a harrasment policy in place.

it's not fair to my tenants nor to the unit owner. Like someone said on this thread- they want quiet, move to a nursing home.

It's impossible to have complete silence in a complex as large as parkchesters. When pple walk voices resonate throughout... and what? They need to get over it and Parkchester needs to address those kind of neighbors.

I am having the same issue... for YEARS the below old bastards have harrassed me and my tenants. Im so annoyed i've put my unit up for sale. I lost a great tenant because of them. They were a married couple w/ a baby. Now i have an amazing couple w/ another baby and cant seem to get them off my back. I called PNC and hope to resolve this.
I've written letters to parkchester, my tenants have also. I think I have a case to sue these people for every month im out a tenant... it's rediculous!

So we all agree, Parkchester sucks!!!!!

ever heard the joke "her hair was so short I could see her change her mind"...That's how Parkchester is, "The walls are so dam thin I can hear my neighbor change his mind"...

So my Problem is my upstairs neighbors, playing loud music in the middle of the night like after 1 a.m. 2 a.m.. these people can't be working people, I know they have section 8 apts in the building...now I don't have nothing against section 8, I grew up on public assistance(welfare)so I know people got to live but people got to respect other people also.

I can see why some buildings don't want section 8 in their buildings. and like the other post said the security is useless, they want you to stay up so they can come to your apartment to hear were the noise is coming from. I get up at 4 a.m. to go to work no dam way i'm staying up when I get woken up at 1 or 2 waiting for them, I did that once and they never even came to my place! My suggestion to management was to question the people on the floor above and below the complaint I know I'm not the only one hearing music in the middle of the dam night, if the majority of people say its coming from 6D, then guest what, "num nuts"...

then to top if off I live on the D line so i'm right behind the compactor room, with people trying to throw the whole dam living room set down the shoot that's another issue with parkchester...pay for some dam installation around the compactor rooms...

and why can't people figure out that all the front doors slam loud? catch the dam door "num nuts"!!!!

Calling Parkchester Security and complaining to them is like speaking to a brick wall that can't talk. They'll hear your complaint, and then take 30 years to arrive to your apartment. Then, when they do arrive, they don't do anything to stop the problem. So much for doing their jobs. They'd rather prey on innocent people, than the ones that are actually doing the wrong things. Don't bother. If you need to call the authorities, call the REAL Police Dept., not Parkchester Security. Parkchester Security is one big fat joke. Until they do their jobs right, I have no respect for them at all.

The problem I have is my upstairs neighbor has no carpet/rugs and a dog that runs around all hours of the night. I written a couple of notes to no avail. I really don't want to call security & complain but my hand is being forced
